The NOACA Regional ITS Architecture covers existing and planned ITS elements throughout the five counties that make up the NOACA region (Lorain, Medina, Cuyahoga, Lake, and Geauga).
Description
The NOACA Regional ITS Architecture is a roadmap for transportation systems integration in the 5 county (Lorain, Medina, Cuyahoga, Lake, and Geauga) NOACA region over the next 10 years. The architecture was developed through a cooperative effort by the region's transportation agencies, covering all modes and all roads in the region. This architecture is the second update of the NOACA Regional ITS Architecture.
The purpose of this architecture is to document how the region envisions that each agency's systems will work together in the future and how sharing of information and resources will help provide a safer, more efficient, and more effective transportation system for travelers in the region.

Geographic Scope
The geographic scope of the NOACA Regional ITS Architecture is the NOACA Region, which consists of Cuyahoga County, Geauga County, Lake County, Lorain County, and Medina County.
Service Scope
The architecture covers the broad spectrum of ITS, including Traffic Management, Traveler Information, Maintenance and Construction Management, Public Transportation Management, Commercial Vehicle Operations, Data Management, Parking Management, Public Safety, Weather, and Vehicle Safety.
