S-37: NOACA Signal Timing Optimization Program (STOP)
Description
This effort will re–time traffic signals on arterial roadways of regional significance. NOACA will lead the effort to update signal operations across key corridors in the region, and across jurisdictional boundaries, seeking to minimize stops and delays, reduce fuel consumption and air pollution, maximize traffic flow along arterial roadways, and improve safety by reducing rear end crashes.
