Ohio DOT CV Service Monitor System to Ohio DOT Traffic Signal Control Systems Interface Diagram

Architecture Flow Definitions

center status  (Planned)  Applicable ITS Standards

Represents the interactive monitoring of system operations by the Service Monitor. It includes device housekeeping/heartbeat monitoring and network monitoring information, the status of installed applications, and the configuration of managed devices.

device identification  (Planned)

An identifier and device type designation that is used to uniquely identify a device in the Connected Vehicle Environment.

permission application  (Planned)

A request for permission to access a Connected Vehicle service by an end–user that requires enrollment. This may include services granted to drivers of low emissions vehicles or pedestrians with special needs that require extended crossing times for example.

permission application receipt  (Planned)

An acknowledgment that an end–user application for a Connected Vehicle service was received and processed.

RSE fault data  (Planned)  Applicable ITS Standards

RSE fault information that can be used to identify RSEs that require initialization, reconfiguration, repair or replacement. This flow identifies the device, the nature of the fault, and associated error codes and diagnostic data.

system status  (Planned)

Monitoring of system device status including current mode, operational status, and configuration settings. It includes device housekeeping/heartbeat monitoring and includes network information, the status of installed applications, and the configuration of managed devices.

time local form  (Planned)  Applicable ITS Standards

Time local form includes UTC time synchronized with the external source in a format usable by connected vehicle center functions.
